The purpose of the Alcovy OldTimers is to promote the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) within Northeast Georgia (NEGA) Council. The Alcovy OldTimers operates as a voluntary social group of selected adult BSA Scouters, that are dedicated to serve as a manpower pool to the District Committees of Sweetwater and Apalachee in support of BSA and the NEGA Council. Service rendered includes organizational skills, activity planning, management, manpower, and some materials.
Alcovy OldTimers is an organization of BSA Scouting adults that are dedicated to the promotion of scouting ideals and events within the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
